As a certified Nutritional Therapist & AIP Coach, I help women tackle their gut dysfunction and skin conditions by helping them to heal their gut and strengthen their immune system.
Diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, ulcerative colitis, in 2006, I eventually put my symptoms into symptomatic remission through a healing diet of real food, identifying food sensitivities through the autoimmune protocol, and tackling lifestyle choices. Now, I help others do the same.
I do this by using targeted food therapies like the autoimmune protocol (AIP), specific carbohydrate diet (SCD), low-fodmap diet, etc. The food therapy used will depend on symptoms and diagnosis (if the client has one). In other words, it’s a bio-individual approach.
The goal of these food therapies is to remove inflammatory foods from the body to help heal the gut, strengthen the immune system, and restore nutritional deficiencies. Along with food therapy, we also focus on the critical lifestyle pieces that can bring relief like stress management, sleep, self-care, and movement.
